Sightseeingturen till Blue Mountains börjar tidigt på morgonen med upphämtning från ditt hotell i centrala Sydney. Sedan beger ni er västerut över den världsberömda Sydney Harbour Bridge i Australiens tidiga upptäcktsresandes fotspår. I den bekväma minibussen* med plats för 20 passagerare får du garanterat en personlig upplevelse och vår kunniga guide vägleder dig till Blue Mountains skönhet.

Fortsätt västerut och bege dig över bergen rakt in i Blue Mountains hjärta. Här får du börja med en lätt guidad vandring till en spektakulär utsiktsplats på en klippa (en plats bortom turiststråken) med en enastående utsikt över Jamison Valley – en fotografs önskedröm med branta sandstensklippor i rost och rosa, och den frodiga subtropiska regnskogen nedanför.

Besök Scenic World med Scenic Railway, Skyway, Cableway och Rainforest Walkway. Glid mellan bergstopparna på Scenic Skyway. Med 360 graders utsikt får du de bästa vyerna över Katoomba Falls, Three Sisters och Jamison Valley. Åk ner i Jamison Valley med linbanan Cableway och få en unik utsikt över Three Sisters, Orphan Rock, Mount Solitary och Katoomba Falls. Upptäck lugnet i den gamla regnskogen under en guidad vandring längs Rainforest Walkway.

Nästa stopp är Echo Point där du kan stå nedanför de mäktiga Three Sisters, som reser sig över Jamison Valley, omsluten av den vackra naturens storhet.

Ät en lunch som du väljer bland ett urval av fyra alternativ som tillagats av en kock följt av te och kaffe på ett av bergens historiska hotell. Alla särskilda kostbehov kan tillgodoses.

På eftermiddagen åker vi ned till Featherdale Wildlife Park. I den här prisbelönta djurparken lever kängurur, koalor och emuer. Det finns även krokodiler, vombater och otaliga fågelarter – så glöm inte kameran eftersom det kommer att finnas möjlighet att mata kängurur direkt ur handen!

Du kan komplettera heldagsturen till Blue Mountains med en berömd flodkryssning. Resan tillbaka till staden sker med båt från Homebush Bay, platsen för OS i Sydney, längs den berömda Parramatta River, en viktig flod i Australiens koloniala historia. Njut av det stilla vattnet i Sydney Harbour medan du glider förbi några imponerande sevärdheter, bland annat Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House och vidare mot slutdestinationen Circular Quay eller Darling Harbour, där heldagsturen till Blue Mountains avslutas.

Tour Operator should have known school holiday wristband options were in effect which woukd have avoided us getting pulled off gondola and saved us about 10-15 minutes. Steve our guide was great tho. A few too many stops...some with too much time (people all back on coach early) and a few with too little.

Tour started out a little disappointing. 2 hour drive to start out the day. and several pick up spots after us at 7:00 am. But once we got to the blue mountains and the sun was shining bright. The day went really nice. Our guide was very nice and talkative. We had several photo stops. A lot of walking to be aware of for those with limitations. This did not affect us but did affect a couple of others with us who decided to stay back at a few stops. Feather dale Zoo was great but would have loved to have had more time there. Our lunch stop was also very good. We ordered ahead of time and it was almost ready when we arrived. About 5 things to chose from. Fish and chips were awesome.

Entertaining driver took us two hours into the Blue Mountains, rode two trams, hiked several small trails to scenic waterfalls, delicious lunch in Leura with time to explore this small village, cruise back from Olympic Park on the clean well-runferry.

POSITIVES - convenient pick up; small group; comfortable coach; excellent driver/guide (Ian) - very friendly and knowledgeable; nice lunch (included); Featherdale Wildlife Park was excellent, especially feeding the kangaroos and photo with koala; great scenery in the mountains - once the mist cleared!NEGATIVES - we were unlucky to have a misty start to the day, so there was nothing to see at the first few lookout spots in the mountains; the walk through the bush wasn't my cup of tea and took too long (but to be fair, our guide was killing time until the mist cleared)

We really loved this tour! Our guide Adam was awesome and you could tell how much he loved his job! He was so knowledgeable and so much fun! The only thing I could comment on is that I could have enjoyed staying at the zoo an hour more and an hour less in the nature part. The animal part was too short for me. Otherwise an awesome tour! Well recommended!!
