Start your comprehensive city tour of San Francisco movie and TV sites with pickup at Fisherman’s Wharf. See classic clips from The Birdman of Alcatraz and the Dwayne Johnson blockbuster, San Andreas. Pass through crooked Lombard Street and Taylor Street, where Steve McQueen in Bullitt catches big air in the most famous car chase scene of all time.

Arriving in North Beach, see Saints Peter and Paul Church and Washington Square, and watch out for the Scorpio killer from Dirty Harry. Drive through the Financial District, home to the Towering Inferno and the Transamerica Pyramid, which narrowly escapes destruction in Mission Impossible. On Nob Hill, you'll be in the middle of the action from Vertigo, Bullitt, The Wedding Planner, and The Rock.

Next up is Union Square, home to the world's first talkie movie as well as a surprise visit from Alfred Hitchcock. Then venture to Antman's apartment and see San Francisco as New York City in Rent. Stop for photo ops at City Hall, a stand-in for Washington, DC (Raiders of the Lost Ark), Chicago (Tucker), and SF (Foul Play, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and Milk).

Make another photo stop at Alamo Square for a view of the Painted Ladies and re-experience the opening picnic sequence from Full House. Continuing the journey, ask your driver to 'set us down in Golden Gate Park,' as Captain Kirk states in Star Trek IV. From the park to the Presidio, engulf yourself in a 3-minute tribute to the chase scene from Bullitt.

Then stop at the aptly named Inspiration Point for views of the Palace of Fine Arts and Alcatraz, before arriving at Fort Point at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge. See where Kim Novak jumps in the water and Jimmy Stewart miraculously saves her in Vertigo.

On the way out of Fort Point, experience a montage of Golden Gate Bridge destruction sequences ranging from 1955's It Came From Beneath the Sea to 2015's San Andreas, while also driving by George Lucas' Letterman Digital Arts Complex. Finally, visit Pacific Heights, where you'll see the high school from The Princess Diaries and the house from Mrs. Doubtfire.

WONDERFUL!!!! The tour was so great! Didn't realize how many different movies were made in San Francisco! Marie was like going on vacation with an old friend and she had so many interesting little antidotes about the films. A great learning experience and comfortable way to see the city too!! More than excellent!! Marie, you're Terrific!!!

Very informative very small group only 5 people total. Good value. Only 1 problem i didn’t not like them asking us for a tip at end so they could put toward lunch. I know my place and don’t like being asked to do so

We have been to San Francisco a number of times but we've never really thought about the wealth of film footage that takes place in the city. Marie, our guide, was a vivacious and knowledgeable source of information about both film and facts about the city. Regardless of an interest in film or not, this would be a great overview of the city. Highly recommend this tour if you're a flick fan.

My wife a film buff and I found this tour to be truly amazing and enjoyable from start to finish, lasting more than three hours. Our friendly guide Marie was excellent and extremely knowledgeable. Our driver Brian was very skilful in navigating the various streets taking in a wide area of San Francisco. There were about fifty film locations covered with accompanying film clips shown, introduced and described by Marie. There were many great photo opportunities, including when the bus stopped a few times and we got out to view particular locations on foot, guided by Marie. This tour is highly recommended irrespective of whether you are a film buff or not.

If youre a film geek its great . Got to see parts of the city that we werent able to see otherwise .My highlight was the painted ladies houses and Mrs Doubtfires house .friendly tour guides

We took this tour in January 2018 and it excellent. Maree was our tour guide and she was a wealth of knowledge on San Francisco and the movie sights that we were taken to. I would highly recommend taking this tour when in San Francisco. It was a great introduction to the city and loads of fun!!
