Stop At: Bjarnarfoss, Snaefellsbaer Iceland
Bjarnarfoss is a beautiful waterfall on Snæfellsnes peninsula in the west of Iceland. From the 566-meter high Mælifell mountain, the river Bjarnaá drops down over 80 meters in the Dritvíkurgrunn and ends in the sea. Bjarnafoss falls from a basalt cliff created by the nearby volcano Mælifell and lies in the middle of the Búðahraun lava fields. At some parts of the fall, you still can see the basalt columns.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Budir Church, Gardsbrun 6, Budir Iceland
The Black Church of Budir has in recent years become a very popular object for photographers and with good reason. The small distinct church is a beautiful and minimalistic object placed in the rough nature of Iceland, where the black color makes a beautiful contrast to the often cloudy mountains in the background.
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Arnarstapi Center and Snjófell Restaurant, Arnarstapi, Iceland
Arnarstapi, often nicknamed Stapi is a tiny charming fishing village at the edge of the Southern Snæfellsnes Peninsula. It is located in between Breiðavík and Hellnar and is often spoken in regards to the latter, Arnarstapi and Hellnar.
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Londrangar, Iceland
The two large pillars towering over their surroundings at the shore near Hellnar in Snæfellsnes are Lóndrangar. The two towers are believed to be ancient volcanic plugs that have endured the forces of nature for tens of thousands of years. They have sustained the wind, the forces of the ocean and even eruptions that have pushed more lava around them some thousands of years ago. The higher one is 75 meters high, and the shorter is 61 meters high.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Djupalonssandur Beach, Utnesvegur, Hellnar Iceland
Djúpalónssandur is a sandy beach and bay on foot of Snæfellsjökull in Iceland. It was once home to sixty fishing boats and one of the most prolific fishing villages on the Snæfellsnes peninsula but today the bay is uninhabited.
Four lifting stones are in Djúpalónssandur, used by fishermen to test their strength. They are Fullsterkur ("full strength") weighing 154 kg, Hálfsterkur ("half strength") at 100 kg, hálfdrættingur ("weakling") at 54 kg and Amlóði ("Useless") 23 kg. They were traditionally used to qualify men for work on fishing boats, with the Hálfdrættingur being the minimum weight a man would have to lift onto a ledge at hip-height to qualify.[1]
On the beach there are remains of the Grimsby fishing trawler Epine (GY7) that was wrecked there on March 13, 1948.

This tour was incredible. Sergei is the best tour guide. He speaks English very well and is extremely knowledgeable. He made the trip so much fun. We saw everything and more! It was a tour that I will never forget!! He books up fast so don't hesitate! He knows how to navigate the terrain!
Unfortunately the weather was not in our favour, but Sergei was a great guide. He was very nice, talkative, and went out of his way to make our tour fun. He would also take photos for us and even found me a rock to give to my father.
