Stop At: Cotopaxi National Park, Ecuador

Departure from Quito to the Cotopaxi National Park.

Duration: 5 hours

Stop At: Laguna de Limpiopungo, Latacunga Ecuador

You will visit the Limpiopungo lagoon, it is located in the slops of the volcano. In this place we will stay to enjoy the landscape and take beautiful pictures of the volcano and the lagoon. We will visit the "Mariscal Sucre" Interpretation Center.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Cotopaxi Volcano, Tanicuchi Ecuador

We will do a trekking to the "José Rivas Refuge" (4864 msnm). Leaving the Cotopaxi National Park we will have a touristic lunch included and return to Quito.

Duration: 3 hours

Brilliant trip, The Guide was really helpful and informative and made for an incredibly enjoyable day. Ignore all other trips and book this one!

The tour guide and the driver were both excellent, while not to mention Cotopaxi itself. However more detailed information should be given in advance, so people know how to be prepared for this surprise! We also have to say that lunch at about 5 pm is too late. Why not used the restaurant in the Park?

Our guide Fernando was punctual, fun and informative. Note that the tour was in both Spanish and English so some attention was required when the languages switched... On the day of our visit, we were lucky that we could see the top of Cotopaxi. The hike was led by a local guide who was helpful. It was difficult due to lack of oxygen but I am glad that I made it. A good lunch was included in a lovely restaurant with a view of volcanoes but it was served at nearly 5pm! Luckily snacks were provided and indeed much needed....
