I North Shore och Hanauma Bay
Hawaiis norra kust har länge ansetts vara ett mecka för surfälskare och de som jagar de stora vågorna. Banzai Pipeline Beach, hem till The Billabong Pipe Masters och den tredje etappen i Vans Triple Crown of Surf, står varje år som värd åt flera av världens bästa surfare.
North Shore har inte bara stora och böljande vågor, utan här kan man även pröva på brädpaddling, beskåda djurlivet och små familjeägda Shrimp Trucks. Rundturen börjar med upphämtning kl. 08.00 från ditt hotell i Waikiki och en kort bussresa upp till mitten av ön till berömda Pipeline Beach där världsmästaren i att surfa kröns varje år. Den helt guidade rundturen leds av en vänlig lokalbo vars stora kunskap om områdets historia och kulturen kommer att lära dig allt du någonsin velat veta om Hawaiis mest befolkade ö. Därifrån kan du nå de största sevärdheterna vid North Shore såsom Waimea Bay, Banzai Pipeline, Dole Plantation och Turtle town. Efter en lunchpaus vid en Shrimp Truck som rekommenderas av guiden kommer du att ha tid för kajak eller brädpaddling innan du beger dig till Hanauma Bay State Park för en eftermiddag med snorkling och simning. Hanauma Bay State Park röstas med jämna mellanrum fram som en av de bästa platserna på ön Oahu, så håll utkik efter sköldpaddor när du simmar över revet bland stim av färgglada fiskar och koraller.
När rundturen går mot sitt slut packar du ihop dina tillhörigheter och beger dig tillbaka till limousinen för en kort 30 minuters bilresa tillbaka till Waikiki och hotellet. Vid cirka kl. 17.00 bör du vara tillbaka och redo för middag.

Super helpful, warm, fun and caring guide and driver! They made this day trip very memorable. Everything went smoothly and they even squeezed in couple of extra spots for us! The length of the tour was a little over 9 hours, but every bit of it was terrific. Our tour was Kurt, and driver Eric was fun and energetic and very knowledgeable. For the entire tour, they did not let us get bored and maintained a fun atmosphere. We were given sufficient time to do each activity and enjoyed our lunch as well as a snack. My husband and I booked this tour mainly for the snorkeling! But this tour was so much more! Kurt and Eric, our tour guides were funny and informative! The places we saw, the stories we heard and the laughs we had will go in our memory book!! A must-do for all ages!!!

Doug and Paul were our tour guides and they did an excellent job. Doug managed our time perfectly so we were able to get some extra time at the pipeline because the conditions were good. Overall he shared interesting information about the islands and was very knowledgeable! Excellent tour!
Do not miss this tour and don't use any other company. Had one of the best days of my life. The coolest dude Bo took our small group under his wing for the most amazing day in his bouncy minibus. What a gentleman. Watched the surfers, spent time in the sea at Waimea bay and experienced the washing machine. Paddleboarded at tsume farm and enjoyed a plate lunch. Don't miss the dole whip at the plantation either as it is to die for. Headed through Jurassic valley and on to snorkelling at hanauma bay - what a place, so beautiful and loads of fish. Priceless memories with a sneaky trip in a limo thrown in too. I get goose bumps just thinking about this day. Thank you so much Bo you made two 50 somethings very happy peeps, we fell in love with the north shore and bay and your story telling was brilliant. Keep up the good work.
