Stop At: A Slice of Brooklyn Bus Tours, New York City, NY

This guided bus tour runs every night in December at 7 pm (except Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve). The over the top Christmas Lights in Dyker Heights were made famous in the PBS documentary "Dyker Lights" and featured on TLC's "Crazy Christmas Lights".

On our tour, you'll see lights from both on the bus and off as the guide will escort you through the areas. You'll visit Lucy Spata’s house, the house that started the tradition of “Dyker Lights” back in the 80’s. See the Polizzotto home featuring the largest Santa in the neighborhood at 15 feet tall! Enjoy the incredible lights synchronized to music at Robert DeLauro’s house! Check out Sam the Greek’s house, best described as “Christmas meets Las Vegas!” See the home used as the Commissioner’s house in the hit CBS series “Blue Bloods”! Most importantly, you’ll get the true Brooklyn Christmas experience since our guides grew up in Brooklyn and know the homeowners personally.

You will also see areas that other tours don't know about for their amazing decorations as well like the Bay Ridge and Bensonhurst. Get in the Christmas spirit as soon as you board the bus with a candy cane for the ride! Throughout the tour you will hear nostalgic Christmas music and view a video montage of TV Christmas specials and variety shows from throughout the years featuring Andy Williams, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Andy Williams, Sonny & Cher and many more!

A lovely fun evening. Paula was our guide it was her family’s business and had a great way with her and her annetdotes about the locals made the commentary. We saw the sophisticated Bay Ridge decorated houses to the full on Razamataz at Dyker Heights. It really gets you into the Christmas spirit
