Stop At: Hazrat Nizamuddin Darga, Mathura Rd - Old Nizamuddin Bazaar, New Delhi India

Life is not a race, it’s a journey, so time to enjoy the moments, and discover your childhood with this short cycling trail through Nizamuddin Basti and become a spectator to some unhidden gems of Delhi. The meeting point of the trail is a Nizamuddin police station on Matura Road, just outside Nizamuddin Basti. You will feel energized when you hit the path of Delhi on your cycle.

You will be cycling by the historical complex that houses Humayun’s tomb, apart from this, you will be passing by a renowned NGO, which deals with many social causes. Later your cycling continues through the Nehru stadium, which is named after the first Prime Minister of India- Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru. Apart from this, it is a multipurpose sports stadium as well as a large scale of entertainment events. Now, it’s time to head to Kotla Mubarakpur village, which was a medieval village and now it becomes a marketplace with a residential colony in South Delhi. After this long trail now it’s time to taste some mouth-watering breakfast and have some fun in Lodhi garden, which is a city park and is one of the historical gardens in Delhi. This park is one of the hotspots of Delhiites, once you enter the area you will feel that history is in the air.

After spending some relish time, now get back to your cool bicycles and start cycling, this time, you will be passing by Khan Market, which was established in 1951 and has been ranked as the costliest retail location in India. Now you will be headed for Golf links, which is considered one of the most costly areas to buy real estate in India.

It’s time to head back to your final destination from where you start the journey and that is Nizamuddin village. During this ride, you will touch several historical points in Delhi, which will take you to the earlier era and at the end of this journey, you will feel proud to have knowledge about the glorious history of India. This short trail is all about, fun, freshness, and knowledge.
