Rundtur på segway i Madrid
Ni passerar Almudena-katedralen, som slutfördes 1992 efter mer än 110 års byggarbete. Även om kyrkan är relativt ny har platsen den står på varit en plats för tillbedjan sedan stadens första bosättningar.
Palacio Real, det kungliga palatset, var Filip V av Spaniens skapelse. Filip V var den förste regenten av huset Bourbon, och hans plan var att bygga ett arkitektoniskt mästerverk för att konkurrera med de europeiska motsvarigheterna. Det som nu står här är en italianiserad barockkoloss med cirka 2 800 rum. Det används fortfarande vid officiella representationer, men den nuvarande kungen bor inte i palatset. Du får också se de vackra Sabatini-trädgårdarna som anlagts till minne av Francesco Sabatini, en italiensk arkitekt som arbetade mycket med det kungliga palatset.
Se det fantastiska Templo de Debod, ett egyptiskt tempel från 300-talet f.Kr., som räddades ur den stigande Nassersjön och skickades, block för block, till Spanien 1970.
Kryssa genom det berömda Plaza de España där du kan se en staty av den spanska författaren Cervantes. Vid författarens fötter finns en bronsstaty av hans mest kända karaktärer, Don Quijote och Sancho Panza.
Återvänd till själva kärnan i Madrid, Plaza Mayor, som byggts i typisk Herrera-stil. Torget, som tidigare var ett centrum för kungliga festligheter och tjurfäktning, brändes ned till grunden 1790, men det återuppbyggdes senare. Idag är torget kantat av butiker och utomhuskaféer, vilket gör att det är en perfekt plats att avsluta rundturen på.

Had a wonderful experience with Luisini. Very patient and knowledgeable. It was my our first time trying Segway and thoroughly enjoyed it. Covered a lot of area and went to places I wouldn’t even think to see. Would definitely recommend spending 3 hours on this adventure!
Benjamin was our tour guide and he was awesome! Very friendly took a million photos of us and allowed my friend and I to enjoy the city without feeling rushed or on a time crunch. We were able to see all the main attractions of Madrid on the most gorgeous day. Segway is the best way to do it! Would recommend this everyone!
This tour was so fun! It was pouring rain and chilly but the guide was excellent. I enjoyed every minute.
Madrid has so much to offer that no amount of time spent there would do justice. But this Segway tour showed us the best of Madrid and easily made it our favourite destination in Europe. The tour guide Alex was extremely helpful and helped us get comfortable with the Segway before exploring the beautiful city of Madrid. The Segway is definitely a win mainly for its ease of usage and compatibility. The tour showed us the historical and modern side of this vibrant city. We were fortunate enough to have the weather gods bless us with pleasant weather that made this tour lot more enjoyable. Though the tour company kept us waiting for a bit, they made up for it by giving us an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend this!!
At first I wasn't sure if I could ride the segway. But it was really easy and fun. Both my husband and I are in our late 50s. No problem using it. Three thumbs up!
