Om den här aktiviteten
Board a luxury coach in central London in the morning. Pop in your state-of-the-art Vox headphones and listen to your guide’s informative commentary as you begin your day trip into the English countryside.

Salisbury Cathedral
The beautiful Salisbury Cathedral is an international symbol of Christianity and a world class heritage attraction. The spire is the tallest in England, 123 meters (404 feet). Once inside you'll be impressed by the Cathedral's graceful, elegant proportions. We visit The Chapter House home to one of only 4 surviving copies of The Magna Carta and see the oldest working clock in Europe, dating back to 1386.

Afternoon Tea at Salisbury Cathedral
Enjoy a sumptuous afternoon tea in the beautifully quaint Bell Tower Tea Rooms overlooking the North Lawn of the Cathedral. This elegant afternoon tea includes sandwiches, scones, jam and a delicate selection of cakes and fancies, complete with teas, coffees and juices.

Mysterious Stonehenge
5,000 years ago the huge 40 tonne stones were dragged from over 280 miles away in Wales. Who built it and why remains a mystery today. Some say that it was built as a religious temple, or an astronomical clock. Stonehenge continues to enthrall the imagination and captivate the heart of every visitor.

Bath
This beautiful Georgian city justly deserves its status as a World Heritage Site, with its delightful terraces, elegant crescents and stunning architecture, on our panoramic tour of the city we will show you the crescents, Pulteney Bridge modelled on the Ponte Vecchio in Florence and Bath Abbey. Enjoy free time to explore this beautiful city.

Delightful tour. However, in Bath, the short time allowed us only a short walk. Our guide (Sacha) and the driver (Kelvin) were professional and friendly, so everything went well.

Leaving from the Victoria coach station in the morning for a two hour ride to the village of Bath begins a jam packed day. Tour guide Rob -who is a engineer with special interest in architecture- narrated the history and pointed out the highlights of Bath with a stop downtown for a walkabout and a visit to the cathedral. Some local ice cream was delicious. Then it’s back on the bus in a trip to the Salisbury Cathedral. Here we had tea. The tea is served in a cafeteria style room that is next to the cathedral. After that was done a very informative tour of the cathedral. Of note is that each person got an individual headphone to wear so everyone could hear the narrative without problems. The last stop was at Stonehedge for a fascinating visit to this ancient monument. This was crowded. Then back to London. Tour guide Rob is excellent and enhanced this tour maximally. Driver Steve made the ride smooth. Highly recommend.

The tour guide was great. The tea at the Cathedral was sad. Not enough for everyone to get each type of sandwhich, not enough tea, water was not served until requested. The tickets to the Roman baths in Bath were not included. Luckily there was no line and we were able to purchase the tickets and visit the Roman baths. If there were to be a line, there would not be enough time to visit the baths, since you get only slightly over an hour to spend in Bath.

If you only have time for a single day trip out of London, this is a great way to cover a lot of ground and make your drive worth the while. I wish we had been able to spend a bit more time at each place, but we knew that by having three destinations we'd have a shortened time at each. Katia, our guide, was very nice and informative, and it was great to have her cover all of the bookings, tickets, and lunch (tea) reservations. We also thought the earpieces that allow you to listen to the guide without her having to shout are a BRILLIANT way to do a tour. No straining to hear what the guide says! If I had to do it again, I would bring a book since a good chunk of the drive back is on the freeway without much scenery. Overall, I'd highly recommend!

Absolutely Amazing!! The day is jammed packed with the three different stops, but you have enough time at each place to see the highlights and the guides really know what they're talking about and provide interesting and enjoyable insights. If you're a history buff I'd definitely recommend this tour as the Salisbury stop includes a visit to view an original copy of the Magna Carter. We loved Bath and will definitely we returning as we found ourselves wishing we had more time to explore the town.

The tour guide and driver were wonderful! So informative and friendly. The sites were incredible. The only negative for me was time constraint. Three stops were too much to really take in the sites in more then a superficial way. Traffic was heavy, which is an unpredictable variable. I would choose one or two stops if i had it to do over.

As everyone says, long day BUT wished we could have stayed longer at each site, particularly Bath.
