This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Mercado nro 1 de Surquillo, Av. Paseo de la Republica, Lima Peru

After we pick you up, we will head to a local market located in Surquillo district, just next to Miraflores.

We will visit different stands and show you from where the products and ingredients come from.

Duration: 45 minutes

This class is for people who love traditional foods and want to make it at home! You'll love the relaxed atmosphere with no dull demo's, because we believe in the hands-on approach.

Once we buy all the products in the local market, we will go to the kitchen area.

First, we chop and cut all the ingredients in order to get ready everything to start to cook.

To cook, we use ceramic pots, the same as our ancestors did. This way we will keep all the flavour as natural as they are.

The cooking lesson includes snacks, fruit festival, starter and main course.

The description of the tour is what you get. Kind staff. Good value. Good food. Fun market experience. They picked up and dropped off as stated. I recommend this activity.

This was a lot of fun. We loved going through the market, tasting all the delicious fruit and dinner! The only complaint we had is that we didn’t necessarily “cook”. We chopped up the produce and we stirred the pot so it more felt like we were sue chefs versus cooking especially since we are pretty good cooks at home. Overall though, we would definitely recommend. The tour guide was great and the chef very passionate!

Excellent experience, learned so much about the culture and different types of cooking methods and different foods. Didn’t realize Peru had over 4000 different types of potatoes! Highly recommend this tour, they give back to their community 60% of the cost of this tour, great company!

Superb cooking class with an excellent chef and assistant as well as classmates. Timely pickup and fun shopping at the local market with all the flavor of Peruvian ingredients purchased for the class. Fun outdoor locale to cook and I would highly recommend this tour for anyone that is interested in learning how to cook indigenous Peruvian meals. Thanks!.

I had a great time in this cooking class which started at a local market shopping and learning about the products we would be using. The cooking class was hands on and included a tasting of some fruits I had never tried before and the preparation of three different courses. chef David and Pamela were great instructors for someone who doesnt speak Spanish and even setup my transportation to and from the class. I recommend this class.
