Alessandro was a great guide - he brought us to places that were very local and shared the history and background with us. He is also very knowledgeable on the region - from chianti wine to stories to the history of some of the older villages to the 200 year old butchery he brought us to. Our day ended with an awesome wine tasting at a small vineyard that Alessandro brought us to. We were the only group during our tasting and had the owner's full attention. The owner was so passionate about his craft it was very heartwarming to watch! Wine was awesome, food was awesome - we really enjoyed ourselves! Also a view to die for. Definitely beat huge tours , it was very comfortable for my family and Alessandro was very warm and welcoming. It is obvious he love sharing more about the region he calls his home to us!
