It is really worthwhile to travel in Budapest with Budapest Card. Budapest Card allows me move around with ease.

We bought 120 hour passes and used them constantly which was the best use of them for us. Some of the discounts on the leaflet you are given are out of date and no longer available.

I assumed so many attractions are included in the pass but I was wrong. I will recommend buying it in Budapest and there are so many stalls everywhere in the city. Public transportation was included which is a good thing but other than that I do not see much use of having this.

Card paid for itself. Used on buses and trams by two seniors. Got on and off easily. System goes everywhere you want to visit. Got two museum entries free.

Do not travel to Budapest without planning in advance...so much to see, so much to do! The day card is a must have...

We ordered our cards to the hotel so they were waiting for us on arrival which meant we could get out and about straight away. Good idea to check all the freebies and discounts you can access before you arrive so you can make the most of the card. Public transport was relatively easy with English announcements for stops on many of the buses we used.
