Here you have an hour and a half break to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. You can take a hike around the area or, at your own expense, take a cable car trip between Balea Lake and Balea Waterfall or have lunch in one of the chalets.

This trip was one of the highlights of my visit to Romania. Andre and Gabriel were amazing! personable, knowledgeable and just plain nice. The landscape is gorgeous. The length and curvature of Transfaragasan's road is impressive. This trip is must do.
