Tianamen Square, Forbidden City, and Mutianyu Great Wall from Beijing

Your English-speaking guide and air-conditioned coach will come to pick you up at your Beijing downtown hotel between 7:00am and 8:00am, and drive to Tiananmen Square for sightseeing. Only at here you can strongly feel you are at the political center of nowadays china. Tiananmen Square is the biggest city square in the world.

Then proceed to visit the Forbidden City, which is the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palaces group and is former power center of Qing and Ming dynasty. Walk along the central axis of palaces from south to north for about 2 hours to appreciate this “Architecture Museum” After visiting the Forbidden City, you will have some time to have a short visit of Jade Carving Factory. The jade carving is a famous Chinese handcraft and a blend of excellent skill on carving and Chinese traditional cultures.

After lunch, you will be driven to visit the Great Wall which is a divide line between Agriculture Civilization and Nomads Civilization. We will visit the Mutianyu Great Wall which is one of the most famous and beautiful sections of China's Great Wall. It is surrounded by dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of a year. Up to the top of great wall is a challenging climbing. Cable car is an option 

On the way back to downtown, you will pass by and have a distant view of both the “Bird's Nest" and “Water Cube” (Beijing Olympic Stadium). After that you will have a chance to enjoy the Chinese traditional tea ceremony where you also experience Chinese Calligraphy for free. Chinese Calligraphy has thousand years of history and it was regarded as a kind of cultural and visual art

You will be transferred back to your hotel in the early evening and finish the tour.
