This was the absolute best way to see the building. No crowds, could spend time in each room taking photos and just absorbing the beauty.

Getting in first was amazing to take pictures and being able to see everything. We weren't told and figured out a little late but the Ipod they provide you is not just the tour but you can use the Ipod to see things around the house, what the house is really about. They also have an area where they will take a professional picture outside the house near the roof, they couldnt get it to work. The two females working the photography area were very rude to us and another couple who were waiting. We also never got the picture taken after waiting for about a half an hour. Anyway the house was beautiful and when we were leaving it was open to the general public and it was much harder to move around. Staircases are narrow and rooms were filled which is why we didnt try and go back and utilize the Ipod that shows the house come to life! Worth the extra money and getting up early.
